A New Patient App is Coming to Markham Fertility Centre

Keeping you informed about your care and connected to the clinic has been a priority for Markham Fertility Centre. Last June, we announced a new partnership with Wawa. Wawa Fertility is a European-based digital health platform focused on fertility care, combining a patient-facing mobile app with clinic management tools. With Wawa, we will be able to connects you more seamlessly to your care at Markham Fertility Centre.

Introducing a new patient platform is exciting, but complex. We will start with the financial module on December 1, 2025 and gradually expand access to include all of the other features in the coming year. We think you will find the Wawa app more engaging, helpful, and user friendly.

What you need to know about our new patient app:

Starting December 1, 2025, we will be issuing all invoices and payments through Wawa, with the exception of storage billing, which is managed through Fertility Billing Services. Patients will receive all invoices and payment links from the support@wawafertility.com email address, along with a secure link to your own payment account, which will provide an overview of all your paid and outstanding invoices generated after December 1st.

What are the new benefits?

  • Personalized and secure access to view and manage your invoices.
  • View all your outstanding and paid invoices in one place, giving you a clear financial history at a glance. (only invoices generated after December 1st, 2025)
  • Pay directly from your e-mail with a secure payment link and invoice. Only invoices issued prior to December 1, 2025 can be paid on the website.
  • You can still pay in person at the dispensary with draft/cash/credit/debit/VS/MC/AMEX

In 2026, we expect to deliver so much more to our patients through Wawa, including a better overall experience, improved communication, better access to your clinical information, and a more user friendly portal. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting project.
