Outside of the clinic she spends her time with her husband and two sons.
More About Dr. Kanji
We asked each of our doctors some questions so that you can learn more about who they are as people, not just clinicians.
What Motivates you?
I am motivated by my patients and my peers. There is nothing more motivating and satisfying than working in a team towards the goal of building families. I can't believe how lucky I am to have such a fulfilling career and I want to work hard for every patient. I'm also motivated by the science of it all - I honestly feel that reproductive medicine is an amazing field to be a part of.
What is your message to patients who are struggling to create their family?
My message to those who are struggling is that you are strong. Infertility is NOT your fault. You know what's best for you and your family and we are here to wholeheartedly support you along the way.
What would your patients say about you?
Patients would say that I really care. I truly feel invested in each of my patient's journey and I genuinely want them to feel well supported along the way. I always want their input when creating treatment plans because fertility is so unique when compared to other areas of medicine. It's not always about the protocol, but more often about what is best for a patient taking into account both their emotional and physical wellbeing.
