Dr. Dzineku attended McGill University where he graduated with a BSc in Biochemistry followed by a Doctorate of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Université de Montréal, where he additionally specialized in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology specifically at Hôpital Saint-Luc du CHUM in Montreal, Quebec. Dr. Dzineku also completed a subspecialization in infectious disease and infertility from Hôpital Bichat Claude Bernard, Paris, France.
Dr. Dzineku has been an associate professor at the Université de Montréal and an obstetrician and gynecologist at Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont, Montreal, Quebec. He is responsible for initiating and running the infectious disease and infertility Clinic at Hôpital St-Luc, CHUM.
Through the SOGC’s International Women’s Health Program, Dr. Dzineku travels to Haiti regularly with his wife, also an obstetrician gynaecologist, to educate and train health professionals and medical students on the international standards of maternal and perinatal health. Additionally, he has provided education sessions in Nairobi, Kenya. He is fluent in both English and French.
He is currently a member of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC), the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Quebec Medical Association, the Ontario Medical Association and the Canadian Medical Association and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
