Dr. Salina Kanji is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist who joined Markham Fertility in August 2022. She completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa before moving to Toronto for a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Toronto through Mount Sinai Fertility. She continues to deliver babies at Lakeridge Hospital in Oshawa, and provides fertility care to patients in Durham at Dream Fertility.
Her focus is on creating personalized treatment plans for those working towards growing their families. She has a special interest in medical education and teaching students and residents. She was the recipient of the Undergraduate Medical Teaching Award in Ottawa. Her previous research also had an education focus including a project to create curriculum for third party reproduction. True to her personality, she was also the recipient of the team player award and the leadership award during her residency. If she wasn’t a physician she would still be a camp counsellor. Outside of the clinic she spends her time with her husband and two sons.
