For more than 30 years, Markham Fertility Centre (MFC) has been helping individuals and families navigate their fertility and reproductive journeys. Founded in 1990 by Dr. Michael Virro, MFC has grown from its original vision of providing personalized, high-quality fertility care into a full-service fertility centre with a physician-led team and comprehensive reproductive programs. Today, MFC has helped more than 13,000 families and continues to provide personalized, evidence-based fertility care with a focus on accessibility, innovation and patient experience.
Our main clinic in Markham, Ontario is located at 379 Church Street, the Markham clinic provides the full range of fertility treatments and services, including IUI, IVF, egg freezing and fertility preservation, frozen embryo transfer, genetic testing and counselling, donor and surrogacy care, diagnostic services and early pregnancy support. Markham Fertility Centre is the only clinic in Ontario that offers pain-free egg retrieval, with anaesthesia administered by an anaesthesiologist. With our embryology and andrology laboratory, genetics team, nursing team, fertility medication dispensary and imaging services available in one location, patients can access many aspects of their fertility care under one roof.
