As part of your protocol, your doctors instructed you to use Crinone gel.

This is a vaginal suppository that you'll insert vaginally as high as is comfortable.

You'll start by opening the box. There's 18 doses in a box. Each one is single use. These are kept at room temperature.

When you're ready to do your Crinone dose, you'll open this pack and you'll see that this is what the applicator looks like, and the Crinone itself is a gel that's loaded kind of at the top of this applicator. So you'll take the top off. And you'll insert this part into your vagina again, as high as is comfortable, it shouldn't cause you any pain, but you want to try and get it as high as you can without causing discomfort.

Then, when you're ready, you'll squeeze the bulb down here and the Crinone gel will come out. Once you've squeezed the bulb completely, you'll remove the applicator from your vagina and you can dispose of it in the garbage.

It's normal when you use a vaginal suppository to have a little bit of discharge after you've done it, especially if you're doing it in the day when you're up and moving around. It's normal to see some discharge coming out in your underwear. That's normal. Don't worry about it. The medication is still doing its job inside your vagina.

Your nurse will give you instructions about when to start and stop your Crinone.
